DISINFECTING WIPES

NON-POROUS SURFACE QUANTITATIVE ASSAY WITH MECHANICAL ACTION (WIPES)

MEDICAL DOMAIN

Adapted protocol from PR NF EN 16615 (May.2015) and NF EN 14476 (Jan.2017) standards.

Viral strains: norovirus and adénovirus type 5

The disinfectant activities shall demonstrate at least 4 decimal log (lg) reduction.

Obligatory conditions (soaked wipe): 1 contact time, 1 temperature, 2 concentrations and clean and 1 clean/dirty conditio
Obligatory conditions (“ready to use” wipe): 1 contact time, 1 temperature, 1 concentration and 1 clean/dirty condition

Surface assay: PVC/polyurethan

Optional assays:
-Surface assay: glass, stainless steel and plastic (ABS)
-Wipe « ready to use »: efficiency over time of wipes after the opening of the packaging
